Highway Safety

Thankyou to everyone who made comments on highway safety issues in our parish, all of your comments have been helpful in building the case to present to LCC, Highways. Our Councillor met with Highways officials, County Councillor Charles Edwards who is the cabinet member for Highways and Transport & Deputy Police & Crime Commissioner – Andy Pratt.
Their comments were encouraging and as a follow up, in the first instance, the parish council will be inviting the Deputy Police & Crime Commissioner -Andy Pratt, to visit Sabden to look at the issues and meet councillors and residents. We will publicise the meeting date when it has been convened.
One of the key messages that came from the meeting was that we all need to record and report speeding along with other activity which concern us. Once reported the police will examine the footage.
