Parish Council Meetings

During the coronavirus emergency your parish council has continued with the necessary services and support for residents but it has not always been easy due to limited services available via the higher/major authorities. Early advice discouraged meeting in person and as a consequence all parish council meetings were cancelled until further notice, with a provision to meet only if there was urgent business.

In line with this advice the annual meeting was also cancelled so our Chairman and Vice Chairman continue in post. Emergency legislation made provisions for councils to meet remotely using either video or telephone conferencing technology and this is in place until May 2021, so there should be no need to meet face to face.

With effect from Tuesday 1st September monthly parish council meetings will recommence and will be held remotely. Members of the public will be allowed to observe these meetings and should contact the clerk for details on how to gain access. As previously Agendas will be published in advance of the meeting.
