Best Kept Village Competition

Just a reminder that the judging period for the Best Kept Village Competition is from 1st June until 18th July 2021.  During this time we will have four unannounced visits from the judges. 

During the recent rainy spell grass has sprung up on kerbs all around the village.  We would be very grateful if you would clear this in front of your house or if you have time clear a stretch of your road.  Any help that you can give to tidy or improve the village would be greatly appreciated.

Please pick up any litter you see when you are walking round the village and encourage your children to use the bins when they are on the Holme or Lower Holme.

Thanks to everyone who has already done work around the village.  Hopefully we will have some dry weather in the coming weeks so that more of us can get outside and make Sabden look as good as it can and show the judges that we are all so proud of our lovely village.
