IF YOU ABUSE IT YOU WILL LOSE IT - Village Car Park Recycling Bins

Frequently the recycling bins on the village car park are over filled/over flowing and bags/boxes of recycling are left on the ground at the base of the bins. This is unacceptable.
PLEASE DO NOT leave anything on the ground and if the lid doesn't close it is too full.
The blue bins are emptied fortnightly (except over the Christmas period when it will be weekly). The next 3 collection dates are Wednesday 23rd December, Thursday 31st December and Thursday 7th January, thereafter every 2 weeks.
If the bins are full please take your recycling home and return after the collection date.
If you abuse the facility you will lose it !!
Ribble Valley Borough Council is responsible for providing and emptying the recycling bins on Sabden Car Park. Ever since the bottle banks and the large recycling container were removed from the car park Sabden Parish Council has been continually negotaiting with RVBC to obtain sufficient recycling bins for the village.
