DO YOU PARK YOUR VEHICLE AT THE JUNCTION OF PADIHAM ROAD AND THORN STREET ?

Ribble Valley Borough Council has advised that the refuse collection vehicle is struggling to gain access to Thorn Street and in particular to be able to collect the bins from Thorn Croft.

The issue is the parking at the junction of Padiham Road and Thorn Street restricting the width of the street and in doing so not allowing the refuse collection vehicle sufficient space to reverse.

We respectfully ask if you park your vehicle in the vicinity of the junction of Padiham Road & Thorn Street to be aware of access issues for the refuse collection vehicle on Thursdays, but also at all times for emergency & delivery vehicles.
